EIN Submission Form

FAQs

What do you need to know?

Starting Nov 1st we were required to provide EIN for all of our customer accounts in order to continue sending text messages without incurring fines.

Why did this change?

The Campaign Registry (TCR) is an entity made up of the major cellular carriers in the United States. They jointly set rules that govern how text message campaigns are registered and utilized. Failure to follow their rules can incur fines and also lead to text messages being blocked. The TCR now requires that all businesses with an EIN provide it in order for them to remain registered.

Why do they need my EIN?

The EIN helps establish the legitimacy of your account and helps ensure that the messages you are sending out are not spam and have a real business purpose.

What do I need to do?

Please provide us with your EIN as soon as possible here. If you don't have an EIN for your business, please fill out the form and let us know.

What happens if I don't do anything?

If no action was taken before Nov 3rd, your account will be unregistered with TCR. Unregistered traffic incurs fines from the TCR, which will be passed to your bill. Messages sent by unregistered accounts also have a much higher chance of being blocked by carriers.

What if I only operate in Canada and don't have an EIN?

Canadian customers operating in Canada only will need to submit their business number (BN) provided to them by the Canada Revenue Agency. Please use the form above to submit your BN.
